Mr. Dawson received his bachelors of business administration degree in accounting from Texas Tech University located in Lubbock, Texas. He is a certified public accountant holding certificates in Texas and Arizona and is a certified fraud examiner. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants, the Arizona Society of Certified Public Accountants, and the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners.

Mr. Dawson is in charge of the forensic audit department for the firm providing investigation, consultation and training services including training for organizational staff, management and boards of directors. He has spoken extensively around the country, having authored numerous seminars regarding fraud investigation and related internal control issues. Mr. Dawson lives in Lubbock, Texas with his wife and four children.
