Orland Gilbert

Orland Gilbert is a native of West Texas and a graduate of McMurry University in Abilene. He became a partner in 1963. Although he has started the process of transferring his equity interest, he continues to serve firm clients. His primary areas of responsibility include electric utilities, agriculture, and a diversified tax practice.

Throughout his career, Orland has personally experienced virtually all aspects of the public accountancy field. He has been involved in firm management, spearheaded education and training projects, as well as served clients in varied industries for many years. He is currently on the board of his Alma Mater, McMurry University

Orland resides in Lubbock but also maintains a lake house at Possum Kingdom Lake near Mineral Wells, Texas. He has two sons and their families who reside in Lubbock.
